Item up for bids is an awesome 1920's buckle back horse hide baseball Catchers mitt!This mitt still has its beautiful 100% original patina. No dyes or coloring were used. It has that antique mitt smell we all know and love! As you can see in the photos, this mitt is still in excellent condition and has a great shine! There is just a hint of a makers mark that looks like the old style W that Wilson used but we cannot say for sure. Marked on the glove is HORSE HIDE, GREASED POCKET, and what looks like a hard to read player endorsement but we were unable to figure out who it is. The inside is smooth with no damage or chaffing (see close up). The leather strap and buckle still has it pebbling and works perfectly. All the leather tying is original and holding strong! The glove measures approx. 9.5" tall X 10.5" wide. This awesome and rare baseball mitt would look great displayed with your other baseball collectibles!
