Vintage MacGregor Firstbasemen's Mitt in Very Nice Condition. Mizuno Model #GB20, Made in the USA, The Big Dipper. Endorsed by New York Yankee Great Moose Skowron. Circa 1962. Full Sized Adult Glove. This Large Glove measures 12 inches high X 12 inches wide. No Holes, No Rips and No Mildew. Great Vintage Firstbasemen's Mitt ready for Display or for Play ! The face of the Mitt says MacGregor, the Model #, USA, BIG DIPPER & Moose Skowron autograph model. The back of the Mitt has the Green and Gold MacGregor cloth patch which is worn but fully intact. The thumb loop and pinky loop are intact and in great condition. No cuts in the leather lacing. Inside the Mitt the leather is Smooth. There is a minor seam seperation inside the mitt way up in the forefinger under the web area. Some faded ink writing of previous owner on the back of the Mitt . Very Nice Quality Vintage Firstbasemen's Mitt ! Moose Skowron was 5' 11" tall and weighed 195 lbs. Born in 1930. 14 seasons in the Bigs: 1954 thru 1967. In 1960 he hit .309 with 26 homers and 91 RBI's. In the 1960 World Series Moose hit .375 in 32 at bats. Moose played in 8 World Series with the New York Yankees from 1955 thru 1963. 6 Time All-Star.
