We have made bicycle engine kits since 1984... 23 years so we know what we're doing.... Don't buy a CHEAP China made engine like the "copy" of the Four Cycle Honda or a "copy" two cycle engines being sold. They are not worth messing with. HONDA GX35 35.8cc is a QUALITY Four Cycle Engine and comes with the Complete Staton-Inc drive system is made in the USA. Staton-Inc friction drive kit. This is the Honda GX35 35.8cc 1.60 hp, 4 stroke, (no mixing of oil & gas and very quiet) bike engine kit. These engines get from about 160 to 220 mpg. Your choice of a Rear mount kits have a 60" long throttle cable for Bicycle or a front mount kit for trikes have a 32" long throttle cable. Be sure and let us know if you want a rear mount for a bicycle or a front mount for a trike. Top speed 24 to 30 mph with the GX35 depending on the size of the drive roller and the wieght of the rider. The complete kit weighs about 14 lbs. This is a full crank four cycle engine with a centrifugal clutch and very easy pull start. This allows the engine to keep running while the bike is stopped, then just hit the throttle and take off. Our kits have a ¼" thick Alum. Extrusion that is CNC machined, two high speed double sealed ball bearings, ( one on each side to support the drive roller), our drive rollers are CNC machined knurled & heat treated. This kit comes complete with all the mounting hardware, remote stop switch and Dual engaging rods for a rear or front mount bicycle. Your Choice of the size of the drive roller. Note: If you do not tell us what you want it will delay shipping of your kit. Make sure you copy and paste the model you want from below. Pick from: Model FDR-358-.875 has a 7/8" drive roller and is good for riders over 250 lbs and or if you have lots of hills with a top speed of about 22 mph. Model FDR-358-100 has a 1" drive roller is good for riders up to 200 lbs and some hills top speed is about 25 - 27 mph. Model FDR-358-1125 has a 1-1/8" drive roller is the standard and most common size for riders up to 200 lbs that want a fast top speed about 30 mph. Model FDR-358-125 has a 1-1/4" drive roller and for riders 165 lbs or less and mostly flat ground 33+ mph. Be sure and let us know if you want a REAR kit (FDR) or Front kit (FDF) mount (for trikes) and the size of drive roller you want. We only install the 7/8" and 1" drive rollers on FRONT mount kits for trikes.
