NEW Marwort 11 oz. Weighted Training Baseball This 11 ounce, YELLOW, regulation 9" GENUINE LEATHER ball - not the synthetic cover cheaper balls. Markwort offers two types of weighted baseballs - the WHITE STITCHED are leather, the YELLOW STITCHED are synthetic and less expensive.. This ball is great for developing hand and arm strength, and has been proven to increase pitch speed. The genuine leather simulates an authentic baseball, and in my opinion, is easier on pitcher's fingers. I have personally worked out with both types and have experienced blisters and cuts from synthetic cover weighed balls. Regulation baseballs are 5 oz. A gradual program with ball will help improve both speed and endurance in pitchers at all levels. Instructions for developing pitching accuracy, warm-up exercises, strength enhancement and stretching exercises are included with this set. The over and underload program included was developed by Clint Brill of the MVP School of Baseball.
